| 1994,1998,1999,2001 - Description: This award is presented in recognition of outstanding overall contract performance and outreach that exceeded government goals for subcontracting with small, minority and women-owned businesses. EG&G Services is the U.S. Customs Service's prime contractor for seized property management. EG&G Services, which has won this award an unprecedented four times in the last seven years, maintains nationwide network of more than 4,600 small, minority, and women-owned businesses. The company was cited for its commitment to make its partnership with these businesses an integral part of its strategic business planning. Kevin Boshears, Director, Office of Small Business Development, Department of Treasury presented the award to Dave Webb, Lex Allen, Joe Dennis, and Joe Cavazos on April 25, 2001.In 1999, Nancy Killefer, Assistant Secretary of Management and Chief Financial Officer for the U.S. Treasury Department presented the award to EG&G Services Director of Asset Management Bill Green, U.S. Customs Contract Project Director Dave Webb, Director of Contracts and Procurement Jack Vellis, and Contract Administrator - Procurement Manager Joe Dennis. Through its contract with the U.S. Customs Service, EG&G cost-effectively manages custody, transportation, storage, maintenance and disposal of federally seized property for Treasury Department agencies. EG&G organizes more than 300 U.S. Department of Treasury Seized Property Auctions across the country annually. Since 1990, EG&G has generated close to $200 million in benefits and revenues and $99 million in net income for the U.S. Department of Treasury Asset Forfeiture Fund. |
