  Reaching Out to Small Businesses

EG&G Technical Services, Inc. (EG&G) is committed to the Government policies which encourage contractor participation in socioeconomic programs including the use of Small Businesses (SB), Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, (SDVOSB) HUBZone Small Businesses (HZ), Small Disadvantaged Businesses (SDB), and Woman-Owned Small Businesses (WOSB).

EG&G has a documented history of providing outstanding support to Small Business. The company is a strong supporter of Small Business Assistance Councils and participates in federal and state trade fairs across the country. In 1994, 1998, 1999, 2001, and 2003, EG&G received the Large Business Partner of the Year Award from the Department of the Treasury, recognizing “extraordinary efforts in establishing partnerships with Small, Minority and Women-Owned Small Businesses.” EG&G actively participates in outreach efforts, such as the recent Naval Sea Systems Command sponsored "Making the Connection" Women-Owned Small Business Conference held at Sweet Briar College, VA. For more than a decade, at the National Energy Technology Laboratory, EG&G has been a sponsor and key participant in “Teaming to Win,” a two day outreach effort to develop partnering opportunities for West Virginia small businesses. Additionally, EG&G is a member of the Mid-Atlantic Regional Council for Small Business Education and Advocacy, a forum for sharing small business information among Government, Industry and Academia.

Our Corporate Small Business Liaison Officer is Ms. Liz Cardillo, who can be reached at 401-848-6810 or via email at ECardillo@egginc.com.
