At Cape Canaveral, URS supports NASA and the Air Force’s 45th Space Wing. We provide vital services for every facet of daily operations at the Kennedy Space Center—including the support of Shuttle launches, Cape Canaveral rocket tests and local commercial space launches. We also work with NASA to develop and execute the “Master Plan,” ensuring the Space Center is well-prepared to meet the needs of today and tomorrow. As part of that, URS scientists are using their specialized laboratory expertise to advance future space mission technology.

At the Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) in Huntsville, Alabama, our innovative practices have improved the efficiency of our administrative, management, operations and logistic support across the campus of 241 buildings and structures.

URS also is part of the team supporting essential test and training efforts on the Minuteman III missiles. Our personnel also provide Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) services to the U.S. Air Force Space Command’s Space and Missile Systems Center, where we help manage multiple development programs—from software to modeling and simulation activities, to development of new space and ballistic flight systems and subsystems.
