Our wind energy experience includes extensive work in Australia, New Zealand, Europe and the United States. For example, we used geographic information system technology to locate the optimal position for wind turbines on a wind farm project for Ecogen—a renewable energy company in New York.
Other renewable energy projects include studying the feasibility of harnessing tidal flows in San Francisco Bay as a potential source of clean, sustainable energy for the city and evaluating advanced technologies for converting municipal solid waste into electricity for the city of Los Angeles.
