URS to Provide Asset Management and Logistics Services to Internal Revenue Service

URS Corporation has been awarded a four-year, three-month contract by the United States Department of Treasury, Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to provide real estate and facility management logistics services.
The work to be performed under the indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract involves asset management and logistics services, including warehousing, transportation, repair of equipment and office furniture, box and property moves, labor support and work order processing. URS will operate at 15 IRS sites and provide further support to over 600 Post of Duty (POD) offices throughout the contiguous United States.
