In Queensland, Australia, URS provided environmental consultancy services for the Gladstone Liquefied Gas Project. The multi-billion dollar project encompassed three main components: coal seam gas fields, a 435-kilometer gas transmission pipeline and a LNG facility. Our work included associated infrastructure, a product loading facility and materials offloading facility.
URS prepared an Environmental Impact Statement and supplementary report, performed a risk assessment, and developed an associated water management strategy, as well as provided ongoing regulatory assistance.
