URS progressively designed and built a three-train gas plant at Lost Cabin, Wyoming,
for ConocoPhillips and was solely responsible for all aspects of grass roots facilities’ engineering and construction – conceptual design through commissioning. URS’ strong performance led to multiple contracts on this project.
Construction at the remote site included more than 500 employees from 10 different contractors working through inclement Wyoming winters. In addition to meeting client scheduling needs, the entire project boasts a near perfect safety record including more than 400,000 work hours completed without a recordable injury.
