- Installations Management & Operations
As part of Lawrence Livermore National Security, LLC (LLNS), URS provides management & operations services to Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL). The LLNS management team includes Bechtel National, University of California, BWX Technologies, the Battelle Memorial Institute and Texas A&M University.
URS is working under a seven-year contract with an option for extensions up to 13 years. LLNL, located in Livermore, California, performs work vital to the security and research interests of the United States, including ensuring the safety and reliability of the nation’s nuclear weapons and providing expertise on solutions for a diverse range of complex, high-hazard issues. Programs include homeland security, nuclear nonproliferation, bioscience and biotechnology.
