URS operates the National Radar Cross Section Test Facility (NRTF) at Holloman AFB. To allow the most flexible testing environment for low observable (stealth) aircraft, the facilities, experts and equipment are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. URS also contributes scientific, technical and management expertise to ensure the facility is sustainable throughout its life cycle. Even with a constant availability of testing resources, URS has lowered costs, especially among infrastructure improvements. The NRTF represents an effective partnership with the U.S. Air Force, resulting in a well-functioning and cost-effective testing capability to ensure military readiness.
